I have to admit, I am a glasses kind of gal. I wear mine at least half of the time, because no matter how "breathable" and "comfortable" contacts claim to be, I usually want to claw them out by the end of the day. I recently had an eye exam and my vision just keeps getting worse and worse. The upside to this is replacing my spectacles on an almost yearly basis. Thankfully, there are tons of options for purchasing inexpensive glasses online, but it's so hard to choose the right pair without trying them on. Enter Warby Parker.
I love this company. They offer a free home try on program so that you can choose up to five pairs of specs or sunnies that are sent to your door so you can deliberate for five whole days to choose the perfect ones. Their customer service is amazing; everyone is so nice and helpful. Even better, most of their eyeglasses are under $100! And the best part is that for every pair of glasses sold, they give one pair to a person in need. So not only do you get new specs, but someone else does too. I've purchased my last two pair of glasses from WP and even treated myself to prescription sunglasses last year. I've always had good experiences with them and highly recommend them to anyone looking for new glasses.
Picking only five pairs of glasses to try was tough. Warby Parker offers so many great styles. I finally made my choices received my home try on kit this week and have narrowed them down from five...to four. Here are the ones I'm considering.
Here are my favorites:
Welty: I like the subdued purple of the frames and their squared off shape
Marshall: I also like the shape of these, but they are kind of similar to my current glasses
Upton: These are fun, but just not in this color
Finch: I really love the retro shape and the hints of violet in the frames
I can't make up my mind! Any input from you lovelies? Let me know in the comments below!
